SFI SWC Series String Wound filter cartridges are designed for a variety of prefiltration applications such as SDI (service deionization), reverse osmosis, and CDI (Continuous Deionization) systems. SWC benang cartridges are composed of bleached white cotton string wound polypropylene over a polypropylene or stainless steel core.

Overview Bleached Cotton String Wound Filter

SFI SWC Series Bleached Cotton String Wound Cartridge Filters provide high dirt holding capacity for particles whose micron diameters are common in liquid processing industries.

Cotton string wound cartridges are designed as honeycomb-shap to ensure no short fibers break away. In addition, bleached cotton string wound cartridges provide high flow rate, good chemical resistance, excellent efficiency filtration and long service life. Cotton string wound filters are widely used in industrial oil/water separation, petrochemical process, power plant water treatment and many other crucial industrial fields.

Depth Natural Cotton filters provide a high dirt holding/retention capability with low media migration. They are used in applications including midstream natural gas gathering, refineries, oils, water, paints, organic solutions, alcohols and petroleum. Spun wound to micron ratings from 0,5 to 200 μm, Natural Cotton string wound filters have a temperature rating up to 300ºF.

Cotton string wound filter cartridges operate on the principle of depth filtration. The density and arrangement of the yarn ensure thorough filtration, capturing particles throughout the depth of the cartridge.
